Bidprent set grenadier Franz Bierl Ostfront 1943 mein kampf Wipperfürth -Medal October 1An extremely rare and unique set of two different variants of the Death cards for Wehrmacht Unteroffizier Franz Xaver Bierl, law student (stud. jur.) in civilian life. Franz Xaver Bierl served as an Unteroffizier in a Grenadier Regiment on the Eastern Front. He was severely wounded on 24 August 1943 during the fierce defensive fighting in Russia. Just over a week later, on 2 September 1943, he died of his injuries at the age of 24 in a Kriegslazarett
